Jaffa i a gorgeously cheeky orangutuan and great fun to make. Her pattern now includes an even cheekier young ape with nappy and a version with lidded eyes too.
My orangutans are 13 inches tall (32cm) when made with safety jointed head and thread jointed limbs. Their long arms can have chenille stems to make them bendable and they have bent legs. They have a little needle sculpting to face and tum to create - all covered fully in the pattern.
Pattern includes complete instructions taking you through every stage of making your own orangutan with lots of pics and tips to help as you stitch. Full sized patterm sheets included as usual.
My young ape includes a basic nappy, very easy to make, but they can also wear a doll's nappy, or small baby nappy too. If you are adding felt eyelids, I recommend using a felt to create face and tum (see my blue chap).
Hope you enjoy making these characters - any questions, do get in touch x
