Magnolia is such a sweet little character to sew. She stands just 4 inches tall and is five way jointed with cotter pin neck and thread jointed limbs.
Her pattern has full instructions to take you through making your own handful of mini elepphant. It includes a full sized pattern sheet and lots of tips and tricks to help.
Magnolia requires 4mm glass eyes and 12mm cotter pin joint. Please check my store as I now keep a small selection of supplies and these are postage free when purchased with a patterh : )
She is a delight made in sparse mohair, or a short pile fabric (velvet or cord).
Magnolia requires:
1/8 metre fabric (you can squeeze this little one from 1/16th and I've included a template to help)
4mm glass eyes (please choose plastc safety eyes if she is to join a child
Fabric for skirt (8x 6 inches should be ample)
1 x 12mm cotter pin joint for neck
Strong thread for jointing limbs (Upholstery thread, non-stretch nylong jewellery thread, fishing line ... all are suitable)
