My lovely big Mimosa mouse. She stands 17 inches tall when made with a safety neck joint and thread jointed limbs. Her pattern includes an optional simple dress with gathered skirt and some ideas for variations that you might like to try.
Mimosa has embroidered features with felt inner ears and foot pads. She has curved rms which make her ideal to hug another smaller toy or comforter.
She is perfect made in mohair, or (as my mouse) in soft faux fur. Being quite large she can take longer fur too without "disappearing" : )
Her limbs are fitted by thread jointing and can have covered or decorative buttons, giving Mimosa (and us) more chances to be creative
Her pattern includes full instructions for beginners with pics and tips. I think she makes a wonderful sewing project and I am always happy to help out should you hit a sticky patch :)
