This cute little bear is fully thread jointed and stands 6 inches tall. He is easy to make in felts, but can wear furs too : )
His pattern includes complete instructions to make your bear, together with his clothing and has a full sized pattern sheet. I've included alternative eyes, including embroidery, glass and safety eyes, together with lot of pics and tips.
Toffee should be suitable for all ability levels and he is patched and embroidered - so plenty of opportunity to get creative : )
This version of his pattern is a digital download, so you can get started straight away. It consists of pdf instruction booklet and jpg pattern sheet. He is fun to make and looks good wearing a short pile fur too : )
Toffee can be made in felt or fur. You will need:
12 x 9 rectangle of felt (or fur)
Smaller piece of contrasting felt for paws and ears (6 x 6 inches is ample)
Cotton to match main fabric
Embroidery threads for nose and toes, another for decoration
Small piece of fabric for shirt (approx 6 x 6 inches is enough - will work best with some stretch, a t shirt or jersey cotton)
Strong thread for jointing (upholstery, nylon (non-stretch) jewelery thread, even fishing line is suitable if you have any to hand)
Small scrap pieces of fabric for patches.
Small bag of suitable toy stuffing (250g should be ample)
