This pattern makes my quirky little Arnold bear. He stands just 5 inches tall (13cm) when completed and is five way jointed.
His pattern has tutorial style instructions and an optional simple needle felting tutorial for his nose (he is also perfectly happy with a nice big embroidered nose too).
Instructions include both traditional or thread jointing methods.
A cute little character that is fun to sew and always brings a smile : )
Bears pictured are made in a sparse mohair fur (10 or 12mmpile). He can also wear other short pile fur or fabric (think velvet etc)
Fabrics you need (full list is included with the pattern)
- Fat 1/16th metre fur (35cm x 25cm | 14" x 10" approx)
- 4mm glass or plastic safety eyes
- set of 12mm or 15mm cotter pin or safety joints OR strong thread for jointing
Please use plastic safety joints/eyes or thread jointing for children's bears.
