This sewing pattern makes both our Maurice meercat and his younger chum.      
Their pattern has easy to follow instructions and includes Maurice's waistcoat  (which both can wear  : )     They are very easy to sew with fixed heads and thread jointed limbs.  Both have embroidered features - and as an added bonus, no footpads to fit  : )   Both are child-friendly and suitable for younger children to hug.
 
Maurice stands 10 inches high when completed  (25cm)
Smaller meercat stands 5 inches  (13cm)
Can be machine or hand sewn
Includes pattern and instructions for a waistcoat  (both can wear)
Maurice pictured is made in a cotton fabric, the smaller meercat in faux suede but any short pile plush, or mohair will work really well too.
